2025 Reflections, 2026 Re-Positioning: AI, Professional & Personal Endeavors

Back in 2020s, I spent a significant amount of time coding—building applications, experimenting with microservices, learning through trial and error, making frequent GitHub commits, and sharing parts of that journey publicly.
Fast forward to 2025s, my role has evolved. I now find myself coaching juniors, advising on and validating architecture decisions in my professional work, developing architectural proof-of-concepts through volunteer initiatives, publishing technical articles, and once again actively contributing code and projects on GitHub.
Looking back, I’m grateful that I never stopped learning. When AI arrived at scale, the speed and efficiency of learning changed dramatically. What once took months to grasp can now be learned in days or weeks. For me, this marked a turning point—reaching a stage where building and learning in the digital space, when augmented by AI, feels almost unconstrained. I recognize that this is possible largely because I had already built a strong technical foundation and mental models over the years, allowing me to move in the right direction with clarity and intent.
The latter part of 2025 was not entirely smooth. I encountered setbacks and disappointments. Yet, it was also a necessary phase—a period where re-adjustment and re-positioning became inevitable. In hindsight, I’m glad I began that shift when I did.
2026 Focus: AI, System-Driven, and Enterprise Endeavors
In 2026, my focus sharpens around AI and agentic systems—designing and building systems that leverage large language models and machine learning where they truly add value.
I spend a significant amount of time drafting ideas, designing systems, and refining processes. Through this work, ideas evolve organically, revealing potential that often wasn’t obvious at the start. The act of system design itself has become a thinking tool—one that compounds clarity and direction.
This trajectory is already underway. Work is in progress as I build AI-powered systems toward MVPs, with the intention of further evolution and real-world value creation. I hope these efforts mark the beginning of a longer journey into entrepreneurship—grounded, system-first, and execution-aware.
In parallel, 2026 is also a year of professional re-positioning. I am intentionally shifting from a downstream-heavy role—one dominated by delivery execution and delivery KPIs—toward a more upstream-focused position. This means deeper involvement in solution strategy, architectural authority, and enterprise-level impact, with clearer mandates and broader decision rights to shape the outcomes I am accountable for.
